Halters

I make various kinds of halters, ranging from plain barn halters, to silver show halters, and braided Arabian halters. I've experimented with Peruvian halters as well, but I am not currently offering them for sale(unless you want a prototype...)

These are 1:9 and smaller scale miniatures, not halters for real live, horses! Thanks!

Braided Arabian halter, made using four-strand braid DMC floss and silver tone beads. The chain here is an extra fine gauge, and unfortunately is difficult to find. Click on the pic for two more Arab halters that I have made.

Silver stock breed show halter made for the ISH, natural color leather. This is one of my more complex halters, with adjustable tongue buckles everywhere, even on the chin and jaw straps!.

This halter has been sold on eBay, similar halters will run 35.00. Unlike my bridles I will make duplicates of halters more than once.

Same design as previous halter, only this time using black calf lace. A custom order, the buyer has seen the previous halter on eBay and wanted one just like it, only in black. Made for the Stone Ideal Stock Horse mold.

A plain leather barn halter made for the Breyer Strapless. Stitchmarking is made with a pounce wheel. Here I've included a picture of the adjustable straps on the chin and jaw straps. Sold on eBay. A plain halter like this will cost 25.00.

Braided "rope" halter, made using scaled-down instructions for making real horse rope halters! It even ties at the crown just like the real thing(but is it ever a bee-with-an-itch to tie, I recommend using tweezers or needlenose pliers...). Braided halters are priced at 20.00(TR scale only).

My latest stock show halter, this time with a double row of beads on the cheeks and hand tied "buttons". Nose plate and buckle are by Rio Rondo. Made for the Breyer Smart Chic Olena mold, it also fits Adios. Click the pic for more views!
